Refunds, Returns & Disputes
Marketplace purchases
- Marketplace refunds follow PayPal dispute outcomes. Buyers pay sellers directly through PayPal (use "Goods & Services"); Slab Republic does not pay sellers and does not issue marketplace refunds itself.
- Report an item that isn't as described: wrong item, worse condition, a different grade, damage not shown, or a fake. Changing your mind isn't a reason to report unless the seller's own return policy allows a return.
- Photo proof is required. Show the item, the slab label or condition problem, and the packaging. Add any messages with the seller.
- Ask within 48 hours of delivery. Reports go to Slab Republic's SI Court: the Chancellor may sort the evidence and suggest an outcome, but a person decides any action on the seller's account. The money itself follows the PayPal dispute outcome.
- If an item never arrives, report it from Your orders. It isn't a refund under this rule, but the deal stays open and we review it with tracking.
Payout hold
For sales paid through Slab Republic checkout, the seller's payout is held until you confirm the item is OK, for up to 48 hours after delivery. If you don't respond, it releases automatically. If you report a problem in time, it stays held until we decide.
Right now Slab Republic checkout for marketplace sales isn't live, so we don't hold any money: you pay the seller directly. Marketplace refunds follow PayPal dispute outcomes, so open a PayPal dispute for the money (use "Goods & Services"). We'll still review your case and can act on the seller's account.
Slab Republic platform fees
Seller fees are refundable only if the entire sale is refunded.
Pack cards and XP
Cards from Slab Republic packs, demo packs and XP have no cash value and can't be refunded. Paid packs are not on sale. If they go on sale, this page will explain refunds for them first.
Empire Pass refunds
- Free trial: every Empire Pass plan (monthly, yearly and Founding) starts with a 7-day free trial. Cancel within 7 days of starting and you won't be charged. Your trial end date is shown at checkout and in Settings.
- After that it renews automatically ($14.99/mo, $119.99/yr, or $99/yr Founding Pass) until you cancel. Cancel any time with Manage or cancel subscription in Settings or on the Pass card, or by emailing support@xoraos.app.
- When you cancel, the Pass stays on until the end of the period you already paid for, and you are not charged again.
- Charged by mistake or charged after you cancelled: email us and we will refund it.
- Seller fees are refunded only if the entire sale is refunded. Creator Stream hosting ($29.99/mo) has no refunds after the month begins.
Chancellor chats and Boost Packs
Chancellor chats and Boost Packs. Free accounts get 10 Chancellor chats a day and Empire Pass gets 200. Chats refill at midnight Central and unused daily chats don't carry over. A Chancellor Boost Pack is $7 for 100 extra chats, used after your daily chats run out. Boost Pack chats don't expire while your account is open. They have no cash value, can't be transferred, and end if your account is closed for breaking these Terms. Refunds: unused Boost Packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of their chats were used. Charges made in error are always refunded.
Subscriptions and hosting plans
Empire Pass (monthly, yearly or Founding Member) can be cancelled anytime and stops at the end of the period you've paid for. Empire Pass: you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it. If you were charged after cancelling, or charged by mistake, email support@xoraos.app within 60 days and we'll refund that charge. Creator Stream hosting ($29.99/mo) has no refunds after the month begins. Viewer Stream isn't available yet. See Pass benefits, refund & chargeback policy.
Seller responsibilities
- Describe condition honestly and show clear photos. Say whether a grade is official (with the company and cert number) or a Slab Republic Pre-Grade estimate.
- Ship when you said you would, with tracking whenever you can.
- Answer buyer messages promptly.
- Chargebacks: Seller fee is retained unless Stripe forces a reversal. Creator revenue is reversed proportionally if a buyer disputes. Subscription chargebacks follow Stripe rules. Marketplace sale reversals follow PayPal outcomes. See Terms, Chargebacks.
Our role
Slab Emporium LLC, Texas (admin@xoraos.app · support@xoraos.app) isn't the buyer or seller. We review disputes, can remove listings and freeze or ban accounts, and every decision can be appealed. Until Slab Republic checkout holds payments, we can't force a refund outside a payment provider's process.
