Short version: Slab Republic helps you track, grade-estimate, show off and sell trading cards. You must be 18 or older and in the United States to use it. Pre-Grades are estimates, not official grades. Cards from Slab Republic packs have no cash value. Sales are between buyers and sellers, and the buyer pays shipping. No gambling, raffles, fakes or stolen cards, ever.

1. Who we are

Slab Republic (also shown as "SLAB REPUBLIC") is operated by Slab Emporium LLC ("we", "us"), a Texas limited liability company. Contact for legal notices: Slab Emporium LLC, Texas · admin@xoraos.app · support@xoraos.app. By creating an account or using Slab Republic at slabrepublic.com you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Age and location

You must be at least 18 years old to use Slab Republic. When you sign up you confirm you are 18 or older. We don't knowingly let anyone under 18 use Slab Republic, and we close accounts that belong to minors.
For now Slab Republic is US only: you must live in the United States, and buying, selling and shipping happen within the United States.

3. Your account

Keep your login private. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Use a password you don't use anywhere else. We may approve, pause or close accounts that break these Terms.

4. Pre-Grade estimates

The Slab Republic Pre-Grade is an estimate based on the condition scores you enter. It is not an official grade from PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC or any grading company, and it doesn't promise what a grading company will give your item. Don't describe a Pre-Grade as an official grade when you sell.

5. Values and prices

Any value shown for your items comes from what you enter, a sold price you paste, or an estimate you ask for. We don't guarantee any value or price. Check real sold listings before you buy or sell.

6. Marketplace

The Marketplace connects buyers and sellers. Sales are between the buyer and the seller. Slab Emporium LLC is not the seller and doesn't inspect or ship items. Sellers pay a platform fee from the seller fee ladder (10% by default; 8% at $500+ and 10+ sales; 6% at $5,000+ and 50+ sales; 4% at $50,000+ and 250+ sales; 3% at $500,000+ and 1,000+ sales. Both the lifetime total sold on Slab Republic and the lifetime number of sales must be met to reach a tier). The fee is shown before you list. Sellers must describe items honestly, including condition and any grading. See Refunds, Returns & Disputes.

What you can list

For now Slab Republic is for physical trading cards only: graded slabs, raw cards and sealed product. Comics, coins, sneakers and other collectibles can't be listed yet.

Offers

Buyers can make an offer on a listing. The seller can accept, counter or decline. An accepted offer becomes the price for that buyer, and the same seller fee ladder applies to it. Auctions aren't available yet.

Shipping

The buyer pays shipping. The seller sets the shipping price on the listing (or free shipping), and it's shown before you buy. Shipping is paid to the seller with the item; the Slab Republic fee is on the item price only. Sellers ship within the United States.

Orders, shipping deadlines and tracking

Every sale is an order with a timeline: paid, waiting to ship, shipped, delivered, completed (or cancelled, refunded, or problem reported). The buyer and the seller can see their own orders; Slab Republic staff can see all orders to help with problems.
The seller must ship within 2 US business days (weekends and US federal holidays don't count; times are US Central). If there's no tracking number by the deadline, the order is cancelled automatically and a refund is due to the buyer.
Orders over $20 need a tracking number from USPS, UPS or FedEx. A seller's payout can only be released once tracking has been added and the order is completed.
Stamped envelope (orders of $20 and under): if the seller offers it, the buyer can choose a plain stamped envelope (the seller sets the price, about $1.25). It has no tracking and no “didn't arrive” protection. The order completes and the seller's payout can be released when the buyer confirms, or 7 days after the seller marks it shipped. “Not as described” reports still work once the buyer says it arrived.
Orders over $20 can't use a stamped envelope; tracking is required.
Orders over $250 must be shipped with insurance for the full price. Orders over $500 also need signature on delivery. The seller confirms this when adding tracking.
After delivery the buyer has 48 hours to confirm or report a problem. If the buyer says nothing, the order completes.
Buyers can rate the seller only after a completed order. A seller's public sales history shows completed sales.
Today Slab Republic does not hold or move money: you pay the seller directly, and refunds are sent by the seller and marked by Slab Republic. When Slab Republic checkout with payout holds (Stripe Connect) is turned on, payouts and refunds will run through it and these Terms will be updated.

Buyer confirmation and payout hold

When you buy, you confirm the item arrived as described. For sales paid through Slab Republic checkout, the seller's payout is held until the buyer confirms, for up to 48 hours after delivery. If the buyer doesn't respond within 48 hours, the payout is released automatically. If the buyer reports a problem in that window, the payout stays held until we decide. Today, Slab Republic checkout for marketplace sales is not live yet: buyers pay sellers directly (for example through PayPal), we don't hold that money, and the payment provider's own protection rules apply.

Chargebacks (sellers)

A chargeback is when a buyer’s bank or card company takes back a payment. Seller fee is retained unless Stripe forces a reversal. Creator revenue is reversed proportionally if a buyer disputes. Subscription chargebacks follow Stripe rules. Marketplace sale reversals follow PayPal outcomes. To protect yourself: ship with tracking, use signature confirmation on orders over $500 and insurance on orders over $250, keep clear photos of the item and the package, and answer disputes quickly with that proof. Repeated chargebacks caused by a seller can lead to a ban. A buyer who files false chargebacks can be banned too.

7. Pack cards, demo packs and XP

Cards pulled from Slab Republic packs (including free demo packs), XP, ranks and badges are for fun inside Slab Republic. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or sold, and aren't property you own outside the app. Packs are not available: paid packs are not on sale and pack demos are not open to members. If that changes, the Packs & Chance Disclosure will be updated first.

8. Live shows

Keep content about collectibles and within Slab Republic's content standard (see section 9). Only verified sellers with an active Empire Pass can go live. Show links can come from Whatnot, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Twitch. Hosts who choose a paid hosting plan agree to its price, which is shown before paying. Phase 1 has no paid breaks and no pack sales. No raffles, no "buy to enter" giveaways, no wheels, dice or spin-to-win, and no paid chance games of any kind.

9. Listing and content rules

Content standard. Slab Republic is for adults 18 and older. Everything on Slab Republic, including listings, profiles, posts, chat, live shows, Nova Create designs and anything made with the Chancellor or other generated content, must follow this content standard. No graphic violence or gore, no sexual content or nudity, no hate, and nothing illegal.

These are never allowed on Slab Republic, in listings, profiles, chat, live shows or anywhere else:

Gambling, betting, lotteries, raffles, sweepstakes or any paid chance to win.
Breaks are not available on Slab Republic in Phase 1. Don't sell, run or promote paid breaks, spots or random team assignments on Slab Republic or in a show linked from Slab Republic.
Fake slabs, fake or swapped labels, fake grading, replicas, proxies and counterfeits.
Stolen cards or goods.
Scams, marketplace fraud (shill buying, fake sales, bait-and-switch) and chargeback abuse.
Pretending to be another person, shop or seller.
Harassment, threats and hate speech.
Adult or sexual content.
Political campaigning or political messages.
Cards pulled from Slab Republic packs offered for money.
Trying to hack, abuse bugs in, or get around the rules of Slab Republic.
Anything else that is illegal, or that would put Slab Emporium LLC out of line with the law or our payment providers' rules.

Slab Republic checks new listings for some of these and may block them. Cards that show public figures are fine; campaigning isn't.

10. Reports, SI Court and penalties

SI Court is Slab Republic's internal review tool. It isn't a court, arbitration or legal process, and it doesn't limit your legal rights or your payment provider's dispute process.

Anyone can report a listing, a user or a live show. Reports, evidence and every decision are logged. The Chancellor may review a report and suggest a ruling, but a person at Slab Republic decides bans and every serious case (scams, fakes, stolen cards, fraud, money disputes). For small things such as spam, the Chancellor may recommend a warning or a short pause, and the founder decides. Penalties go step by step: warning, then a temporary freeze, then a freeze, then a ban, and serious cases can skip steps. You can appeal any penalty within 30 days from Settings. If an appeal succeeds, the penalty is removed.

11. Verified sellers

Sellers can ask for a "Verified seller" badge once they have 5 completed sales (completed orders with payment confirmed) and an active Empire Pass. We give it only after a person at Slab Republic approves it, and we can remove it. Only verified sellers with an active Empire Pass can go live. The badge means we checked the seller's account; it is not a promise about any single item.

12. Chancellor features

Chancellor = Sovereign Intelligence (SI), the internal reasoning and governance layer of Slab Republic. Chancellor can be wrong, so double-check anything important. See Sovereign Intelligence (SI).

13. Payments and Empire Pass

Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We never see or store your card number. Prices are always shown before you pay. Empire Pass is billed by Stripe: Monthly $14.99/mo, Yearly $119.99/yr, or Founding Member $99/yr. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, then auto-renews at the plan price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; the plan stops at the end of the period you've paid for. Founding Member ends after the first 500 members or on Dec 31, 2026, whichever comes first. Your $99/yr Founding price stays the same for as long as your membership renews without a break.

Chancellor chats and Boost Packs

Chancellor chats and Boost Packs. Free accounts get 10 Chancellor chats a day and Empire Pass gets 200. Chats refill at midnight Central and unused daily chats don't carry over. A Chancellor Boost Pack is $7 for 100 extra chats, used after your daily chats run out. Boost Pack chats don't expire while your account is open. They have no cash value, can't be transferred, and end if your account is closed for breaking these Terms. Refunds: unused Boost Packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if none of their chats were used. Charges made in error are always refunded.

13A. Creator Streams

Creators stream on their own platform (for example YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick, TikTok, Instagram, Whatnot, eBay Live or CollX) and add a link to that stream in Slab Republic.

Your stream, your rules to follow. Only link streams you own or control. Before saving or going live you confirm this with a checkbox. You must follow the terms and community rules of the platform you stream on.
Slab Republic does not host video. Slab Republic does not host, store, record or download any video. Where a platform allows it, Slab Republic shows the stream with that platform's official embed player. Where a platform does not allow embeds, Slab Republic shows a link that opens the stream on that platform. The platform's own terms and privacy policy apply to what you watch there.
Content rules. Streams, titles and chat must follow Slab Republic's content standard and the listing and content rules: no nudity, hate, harassment, threats, illegal activity, counterfeits, raffles, paid chance games or off-platform payment scams. Breaks are not available on Slab Republic in Phase 1. Don't sell, run or promote paid breaks, spots or random team assignments on Slab Republic or in a show linked from Slab Republic.
Chat conduct. Be respectful. No spam, personal information (yours or anyone else's), impersonation, or links to pay outside Slab Republic's normal payment flow. Chat messages are short text only and may be rate-limited.
Reports and hiding. Anyone can report a show or a chat line. Reported items are hidden for the person who reported them right away. We may hide any show or chat line that breaks these rules or a platform's rules. Hidden items are kept for review, not deleted. We may also remove a creator's ability to list shows.
Viewer Stream and creator payouts (not available yet). Viewer Stream is not on sale yet, and Slab Republic does not pay creators any share of viewer money yet. The price, the creator share, payout timing and tax steps will be published here before it launches.
Creator Stream ($29.99/mo). A hosting plan billed monthly by Stripe that renews until you cancel. Slab Republic keeps the full fee; it is not a royalty. No refunds after the month begins. See Refunds.
Not yet available. Features marked "planned" in the app (such as XP multipliers, priority listing boost, HD lanes, stream history and video chat) are not part of any plan until they launch.

14. Things you can't do

Break the law, sell counterfeits or stolen goods, or misrepresent items.
Anything listed in the listing and content rules.
Try to get paid features without paying, or interfere with Slab Republic's security.
Copy or scrape Slab Republic or other users' content without permission.

15. Disclaimers and limits

Slab Republic is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Slab Emporium LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for disputes between users. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Your data is saved in your browser unless you use an account that syncs, so keep a backup (Settings → Export).

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live says otherwise.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date above, and for big changes we'll let you know in the app.
